The Monorail track is formed from an aluminium extrusion, and individually powered trolley units receive power and control signals via a busbar on the face of the track. Loads of up to 1500kg per trolley are possible. Higher load rating can be accommodated via multiple trolley units.
The system has horizontal and vertical bends, as well as switch and merger junctions, plus lifting and lowering stations. Speed of travel can also be varied to suit system process requirements.
