Towline Conveyors
Towline conveyors are one of a variety of floor conveyors manufactured by CI Logistics. They consist of a floor mounted enclosed track conveyor towing a series of work trolleys. Towline conveyors can be engineered to utilise bi-planner chain, precision chain or drop forged chain.
The conveyors can be mounted on the floor or, should a flush floor be required, they can be mounted within an excavated pit with floor plates used to cover the gap.
CI has completed many towline conveyors including a high quality seat manufacturing line; a multi-line paint conveyor for a prestigious automotive manufacturer; a build line for commercial vehicle axles; a tractor cab assembly line and our latest – a 100m long 22 station in-line, pit mounted conveyor for the assembly of 12 tonne construction type vehicles.
